H.010960-LA 30 Roundabouts @ Tanger Mall & I-10--Ascension Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) is providing an update on H.010960 which is comprised of constructing three new roundabouts along LA 30 in Ascension Parish. The project involves the construction of three roundabouts strategically located along LA 30 at the intersections of I-10 westbound, I-10 eastbound, and St. Landry Avenue.
The left turn lane from LA 30 WB onto I-10 EB will be closed starting on Friday, October 2nd until Friday, November 13th, 2026. Motorist traveling LA 30 WB needing to access the I-10 EB onramp are advised to bypass the intersection to the LA 30 at Robert Wilson/St. Landry Roundabout to make a U-Turn. Take LA 30 EB to the I-10 EB onramp.
The left turn lane from LA 30 EB onto I-10 WB will be closed starting on Monday, October 12th until Friday, November 13th, 2026. The existing LA 30 EB thru lane will be converted into a temporary left turn lane during this phase for motorist to be able to access I-10 WB from LA 30 EB. The existing right thru lane will remain unaffected.
Motorists should expect delays when traveling through the work zone.
These new traffic patterns are required to remove remaining concrete in order to continue constructing the roundabouts at the I-10 EB and WB ramps.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the work zone and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
