LANE CLOSURE: I-20 westbound near Greenwood, Caddo Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Saturday, September 26, 2026, the outside (right) lane of I-20 westbound over the Missouri Pacific railroad tracks near Greenwood in Caddo Parish will be closed.
This lane closure is scheduled to be in place from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for one (1) day, and is necessary to allow
DOTD crews to perform repairs to the deck of the bridge.
This bridge is located immediately east of the US 79/US 80 interchange (Exit 5). See included map.
This critical work helps ensure a smooth driving surface, and keeps the structure in service to the traveling public.
Restrictions/Permits: No detour necessary for this work.
Alternate Route: N/A
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
