Shoulder closure: I-10 WB between MM 55 and East Bayou Lacassine – Jefferson Davis Parish

Jefferson Davis Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced the left shoulder of Interstate 10 Westbound between Mile Marker 55 and East Bayou Lacassine will be closed, beginning Wednesday, September 23, 2026, through Thursday, October 22, 2026.
The closure will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
The closure is necessary for crews to install light pole foundations in the median of I-10 for the State Project I-10: LA 99 (Welsh) interchange lighting. Work will be completed, weather permitting.
