I-10 Eastbound at Exit 103B (I-49 North/US 167 Opelousas), Lafayette Parish, Ramp Closure

LAFAYETTE PARISH, LA - The I-10 Eastbound Exit Ramp at Exit 103B (I-49 North/US 167, Opelousas) will be closed on the following nights, weather permitting.
  • Tuesday, September 22 at 8:00 p.m. until Wednesday, September 23 at 6:00 a.m.
  • Wednesday, September 23 at 8:00 p.m. until Thursday, September 24 at 6:00 a.m.
  • Thursday, September 24 at 8:00 p.m. until Friday, September 25 at 6:00 a.m.

These ramp closures are necessary to allow crews to perform asphalt, saw cutting, and striping operations.

Motorist traveling on I-10 EB will only be able to access I-49/US 167 via the posted detour route, which includes continuing eastbound on I-10 to Exit 104 (Louisiana Avenue), turn north on Louisiana Avenue, then take I-10 Westbound to Exit 103B (I-49 North/US 167 Opelousas).

Emergency vehicles will not have access to the I-10 Eastbound exit ramp at Exit 103B (I-49/US 167, Opelousas).

Detour routes will be posted during the ramp closure periods.

There will be no vehicle width restrictions with this work.
