Alternating lane closure: I-10 EB & WB from Gum Gully Bridge (MM 5) to Vinton Canal Bridge (MM 8.5) - Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced there will be alternating lane closures on Interstate 10 Eastbound and Westbound from Gum Gully Bridge (Mile Marker 5) to Vinton Canal Bridge (Mile Marker 8.5) on the following dates:
- I-10 WB: 7 p.m. Monday, September 21, 2026, to 6 a.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2026
- I-10 EB: 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2026, to 6 a.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2026
The closure is necessary for crews to perform temporary striping and temporary concrete barrier movement. Work will be completed, weather permitting.
