Lane Closure - Southbound Right Lane of Sampson Street (LA 378) - Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish -The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced the southbound right lane of Sampson Street (LA 378) will have daily closures from the Union Pacific Railroad track to the South Service Road from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday, September 21, 2026 through Friday, September 25, 2026.
This closure is necessary for the contractor to perform milling and asphalt placement to the new westbound ramp bridge. All work will be conducted weather permitting.
Safety reminder: DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
