LANE CLOSURE: LA 526 (Bert Kouns) westbound near I-49, Caddo Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, the right lane of a section of LA 526 (Bert Kouns Industrial Loop) in Shreveport will be closed.
This lane closure will take place on LA 526 westbound from I-49 to Linwood Road, and is necessary to allow for pavement repair and a turn lane to be constructed via a permit related to a commercial development at this location.
This lane closure is anticipated to be in place for approximately seven (7) days.
Restrictions/Permits: No detour necessary for this work.
Alternate Route: N/A
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
