EMERGENCY BRIDGE CLOSURE: LA 135 Little Creek Bridge near Rayville in Richland Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that IMMEDIATELY on Thursday, September 17, 2026, the LA 135 bridge over Little Creek, 1.4 miles west of US 425, near Rayville in Richland Parish, will be closed.
This closure is scheduled to be in place from now until approximately 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2026, and is necessary to allow for emergency repairs to the bridge.
This bridge is located approximately 1.4 miles west of US 425.
Restrictions/Permits: Total bridge closure at the specified location. All vehicles must utilize an alternate route.
Alternate Route: Detour signage will be in place.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
