RAMP CLOSURE: I-20 eastbound off-ramp to Monkhouse Dr., Caddo Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises of upcoming pavement repairs to provide an improved driving surface along an I-20 ramp in Shreveport, Caddo Parish.
On Tuesday, September 22, 2026, the I-20 eastbound off-ramp to Monkhouse Drive will be closed from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for one (1) day.
This closure is necessary to allow DOTD maintenance personnel to removed damaged portions of concrete and replace with new material.
Restrictions/Permits: Total ramp closure at the specified location. All vehicles will need to utilize an alternate route.
Alternate Route: Detour signage will be in place.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Remember to leave plenty of room between you and the vehicle in front of you.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
