LA 449 Lane Closures (Flagging Operations) from US 190 to LA 1024 – Ditch Cleaning Operations – Livingston Parish

There will be alternating lane closures using flagging operations on LA 449 from US 190 to LA 1024 scheduled from Monday, September 28, 2026 to Friday, January 8, 2027, from 6am to 6pm, weather permitting, while crews perform ditch cleaning operations.
One lane will remain open.

Motorists may use the following routes to avoid the work zone:
Motorists traveling LA 449 North may take US 190 East to LA 1024 (Cane Market Rd), then West to re-intersect LA 449.
Motorists traveling LA 449 South may take LA 1024 (Cane Market Rd) East to US 190, then West to re-intersect LA 449
