ROAD CLOSURE: LA 810, Jackson Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Friday, September 18, 2026 at 7:00 a.m., a section of LA 810 east of the Weston community in Jackson Parish will be closed.
This road closure is anticipated to be in place through Saturday, September 19, 2026, and is necessary to allow DOTD crews to replace a cross drain pipe located under the roadway.
This closure is located approximately 5.1 miles east of LA 505 and 3.2 miles west of LA 34 (see included map).
DOTD will issue another notification when repairs are complete and the roadway was been reopened. Replacing the cross drain pipe is critical to ensuring adequate and proper drainage through the area.
Restrictions/Permits: Total road closure at the specified location. All vehicles will need to utilize an alternate route.
Alternate Route: Detour signage will be in place.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
