PROJECT NAME: US 90 PEARL RIVER BRIDGES
ST. TAMMANY PARISH LOUISIANA & HANCOCK COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI

SUBJECT: PUBLIC HEARINGS
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD), in conjunction with the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) and the Federal Highway Administration, is conducting two public hearings for the proposed replacement of the five US 90 bridges over the West Pearl, West Middle Pearl, Middle Middle Pearl, East Middle Pearl Rivers in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana and East Pearl River in St. Tammany Parish and Hancock County Mississippi.

There will be two public hearings as detailed below:
· The first will be held at Pearlington Recovery Center 5265 Highway 604, Pearlington, Mississippi 39572 on October 20, 2026 from 4:30pm-7:00pm.
· The second will be held at Northshore High School 100 Panther Drive, Slidell, Louisiana 70461 on October 26, 2026 from 4:30pm-7:00pm.

The purpose of the open-house-style Public Hearings is to present an overview of the project, alternatives studied, the preferred alternative, and impacts from the project. During the open house portion of the public hearing, a continuous multi-media presentation will be shown, and informational handouts, maps, and graphic displays will be available. Representatives from LADOTD will be present at both hearings to answer questions and discuss issues related to the project, including tentative real estate acquisition and construction schedules. Representatives from Mississippi Department of Transportation will be available at the public hearing in Pearlington. Beginning at 6:00pm, members of the public may publicly submit verbal comments; comments may be time limited to three to five minutes, depending on how many individuals wish to speak. The hearing will adjourn when all commentors present have been heard. Written statements can also be mailed to the address shown below, postmarked no later than November 6, 2026 to be included in the public hearing transcript.
