Jefferson Parish - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development would like to alert the public of a temporary emergency closure at US 61 (Airline Drive) southbound at Ridgewood Drive due to a damaged signal arm.
The closure is expected to remain in place until this evening while crews address the damage.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
