DOTD announces striping project on I-10 EB and WB from Vinton to I-210 Westbound Interchange to begin Sept. 13, 2026 – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that a $676,856 striping project on Interstate 10 Eastbound and Westbound from Mile Marker 11 to the Interstate 210 Westbound Interchange is scheduled to begin Sunday, September 13, 2026.
Striping will also be performed on the ramps at Exits 20, 21, and 23. Motorists should expect lane closures during daytime and nighttime hours.
Southern Synergy is the contractor for the project. The work should be completed by November 2026, weather permitting.
