I-10 EB and WB on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge, St. Martin Parish, Alternating Lane Closures for Routine Bridge Inspections

I-10 Eastbound and Westbound on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge will have alternating lane closures between mile markers 123 and 127 for routine bridge inspections during the following times, weather permitting:

Eastbound Lane Closure:
  • Monday, September 14 from 6:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, September 15 from 6:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
Westbound Lane Closure:
  • Wednesday, September 16 from 6:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, September 17 from 6:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
  • Friday, September 18 from 6:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
The bridge will be open to regular traffic with a 16-foot lane restriction on over-sized loads passing through the work zone.

Emergency vehicles will have access to the area but may experience delays.
