LA 82 (Forked Island Bridge), Vermilion Parish, Alternating Lane Closures

LA 82 (Forked Island Bridge) over the Intracoastal Waterway will have alternating lane closures on Tuesday, September 8 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.; and, Wednesday, September 9 from 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., weather permitting.
This closure is necessary to allow for crews to perform routine bridge inspections.
The road will be open to regular traffic with 16-foot lane restrictions on oversized loads passing through the work zone.
Emergency vehicles will have access to the area but may encounter delays.
