BRIDGE CLOSURE: LA 594 Bridge over Caney Creek in Ouachita Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Monday, September 14, 2026, LA 594 will be closed approximately 0.2 miles South of LA 139, in Ouachita Parish.
The purpose of this bridge closure is to perform work related to utility relocations for the bridge replacement project. The bridge is expected to reopen late 2026.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
PERMIT/DETOUR:
The detour route will be posted.
