OPEN - LA 442 East 9/4/2026.
There will be a full road closure on LA 442 .05 miles West at LA 1065 junction while DOTD crews replace cross drain culvert. Re-opening 9/5/2026, weather permitting.
Through traffic will need to detour using alternate route.
Detour Routes:
Motorist traveling Eastbound on LA 442 may use LA 1064 to LA 1065 back to LA 442 East.
Motorist traveling Westbound on LA 442 may use LA 1065 to LA 1064 back to US 51 northtbound.
