Acadia Parish - LA 1104 - Lane Closures

ACADIA PARISH, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Monday, September 7, 2026, LA 1104 from La. 178 to La. 754 in Acadia Parish will have intermittent lane closures for a base rehabilitation and asphalt overlay project.

Work will involve the following:
  • Asphalt milling
  • In-place cement stabilized base course
  • Asphalt overlay
  • Installation of aggregate shoulders
  • Replacement of corrugated metal cross drains with reinforced concrete pipe at two sites

This project is estimated for completion in fall 2026.

DOTD is sending out this notification on behalf of the Office of Louisiana Highway Construction (OLHC), who is managing construction activities for non-federal aid (NFA) routes.

Inquiries regarding this project should be directed to OLHC.

Restrictions/Permits: There will be a 10 foot width restriction throughout the project duration.

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
