Alexandria Intersection Improvements
Rapides Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that, weather permitting, on Tuesday, September 1st, 2026 at 8:30 am, construction work will begin at the following intersections:
1) 3rd St. (LA 1) and Broadway St.
2) LA 28 West and Vandenburg Dr. (LA 3054)
3) MacArthur Dr. (US 71) and Macarthur Dr. near Stimson Ave.
The work is expected to last three (3) days, with lane closures in effect daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Permit/Detour section
There are no detours at this time associated with these lane closures.
