I-10 Widening and Reconstruction Project Weekly Road Closures

Baton Rouge – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces lane closures as part of the I-10 Widening Project in East Baton Rouge Parish. These closures, which are necessary for the progression of the project, will affect night traffic patterns.

DOTD advises motorists that construction activities are contingent on weather conditions and may be subject to change.

Nighttime Closures:
  • I-10 Westbound from Lorri Burgess Ave. to St. Joseph St.
  • Wednesday, August 26 to Thursday, August 27
  • The left lane will be closed from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • I-10 Eastbound to I-110 Northbound Ramp (Exit 155B)
  • Thursday, August 27 to Friday, August 28
  • Full ramp closure from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • I-10 Westbound from Lorri Burgess Ave. to St. Joseph St.
  • Friday, August 28 to Sunday, August 30
  • The left lane will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m.
  • I-110 Southbound from S. 10th St. to Terrace Ave. Off-Ramp
  • Friday, August 28 to Monday, August 31
  • Full nightly closure from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • I-110 Southbound S. 10th St. On-Ramp
  • Friday, August 28 to Monday, August 31
  • Full nightly closure from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

DOTD urges drivers to plan accordingly, allowing extra travel time and exercising caution when driving through construction zones. The safety of both the traveling public and construction workers is of utmost importance, and motorists should stay alert for work crews and their equipment.
