POSTPONED: ROAD CLOSURE: LA 810 between LA 34 and LA 505, Jackson Parish

JACKSON PARISH, La.
- The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at approx. 9:00 a.m., a portion of LA 810 between LA 34 and LA 505 in Jackson Parish will be closed.

This road closure is scheduled to be in place until approximately 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 30th, and is necessary to allow DOTD crews to replace a cross drain pipe located under the roadway. This important work ensures adequate and proper drainage through the area.

This pipe is located approx. 3.2 miles west of the intersection with LA 34 and 5.1 miles east of the intersection with LA 505. GPS Coordinates 32.216957,-92.534387 (see included map)

Restrictions/Permits: Total road closure at the specified location. All vehicles will need to utilize an alternate route.

Alternate Route: Appropriate detour signage will be in place.

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
