I-55 Southbound, MM 22 to MM 14.5, Moving Operations, Tangipahoa Parish

I-55 southbound, right shoulder, will have a moving operation on I-55 elevated section beginning at Milepost 22 and will continue to the Manchac (Exit 15) on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., for general maintenance, weather permitting.
Permit Information:
No restrictions for oversized loads. Both lanes are open to traffic.
Detour Information:
Motorists may take US 51 as an alternate route to avoid the work zone.
Safety Information:
