LANE CLOSURES: I-20 at LA 544 (Tech Dr/Cooktown Rd) Interchange - Lincoln Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists of upcoming lane closures in Ruston, LA that are a part of the LA 544 (Tech Drive) Overpass Replacement project: beginning Sunday, August 23, 2026 and continuing through Wednesday, August 26, 2026 there will be nighttime lane closures along eastbound I-20. These lane closures will be between the Tarbutton Interchange and the US 167 Interchange. On Thursday, August 27, 2026 there will be a nighttime lane closure along LA 544 (Tech Drive) between the South Service Road and Woodward Ave. Thru traffic will be maintained.
These closures can be expected between the following hours:
I-20 Eastbound
Sunday 5 pm - 7 am Monday
Monday 8 pm - 7 am Tuesday
Tuesday 8 pm - 7 am Wednesday
Wednesday 8 pm - 7 am Thursday
LA 544 / Tech Drive
Thursday 8 pm - Friday 6 am
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
Detour/Alternate Route: N/A
Restrictions/Permits: 11' wide for I-20, none for LA 544
