Herbicide application: I-10 EB and WB from Iowa to Acadia Parish Line – Jefferson Davis Parish

Jefferson Davis Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced crews will be conducting herbicide application along Interstate 10 Eastbound and Westbound from the town of Iowa to the Acadia Parish Line from 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. daily, on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, and Wednesday, August 19, 2026.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
