Shoulder closure: I-10 WB between Bayou Nezpique Bridge and North Cutting Ave. overpass – Jefferson Davis Parish

Jefferson Davis Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced an inside shoulder closure along Interstate 10 Westbound between Bayou Nezpique Bridge and North Cutting Ave. overpass from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, and Thursday, August 20, 2026.
The closure is necessary for crews to install light pole foundations in the median of I-10. Work will be completed, weather permitting.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
