***UPDATE***Lane closure: North Lakeshore Drive - Calcasieu Parish

UPDATE: Calcasieu Parish - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces a continuous closure left lane of North Lakeshore Drive between the I-10 Westbound exit ramp to Lakeshore Drive and the I-10 WB entrance ramp will be closed, beginning 8 a.m. Monday, August 17, 2026, until 5 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2026.
All ramps will be open during this time.
The closure is necessary for crews to conduct duct bank operations and install temporary barrier rail along the median of North Lakeshore Drive and I-10 WB. Work will be conducted weather permitting.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
