DOTD announces $3.07 million roundabout project on LA 3092 (Lake St.) at Gauthier Road to begin Aug. 10, 2026 – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that a $3.07 million project to build a roundabout at the intersection of LA 3092 (Lake Street) and Gauthier Road is set to begin Monday, August 10, 2026. The project is estimated to be completed in June 2027.
Motorists can expect lane closures within the project limits throughout the duration of the project. Flagging operations will be in place, depending on the work being completed. Traffic through the intersection will be maintained throughout the duration of the project.
Note: The area highlighted in blue is the project limits.
Siema Construction is the contractor for the project.
