Lane closure: I-10 WB at Lakeshore Drive Entrance Ramp - Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the right lane of Interstate 10 Westbound at the Lakeshore Drive entrance ramp will be closed from 8 PM – 5 AM nightly, beginning Thursday, August 13, 2026, until the morning of Wednesday, August 19, 2026.
The closure will begin at 9 PM on Friday, August 14, 2026. There will be no closure the night of Saturday, August 15, 2026.
All exit ramps will be open during these times.
The closure is necessary for crews to conduct duct bank operations. Work will be conducted weather permitting.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
