I-55 Northbound and Southbound Right Lane Closures between LA 16 (Exit 46) and LA 440 (Exit 57) - Tangipahoa Parish – Roadway Cores

There will be I-55 Northbound and Southbound right lane closures scheduled from 6AM to 6PM at the following locations on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, weather permitting, while DOTD crews take roadway core information.
- I-55 Southbound right lane closure located 1.1 miles south of LA 440
- I-55 Northbound right lane closure located 0.9 miles north of LA 10
There will be I-55 Northbound and Southbound right lane closures scheduled from 6AM to 6PM at the following locations on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, weather permitting, while DOTD crews take roadway core information.
- I-55 Northbound right lane closure located 2.9 miles north of LA 16
- I-55 Southbound right lane closure located 1.1 miles south of LA 1048
Permit Information:
Wide loads are restricted to 12 feet.
Detour Information:
The following routes may be used to avoid the lane closures:
Motorists traveling I-55 north may take LA 16 east (Exit 46) to US 51, then north to LA 440, then west to re-intersect I-55.
Motorists traveling I-55 south may take LA 440 east (Exit 57) to US 51, then south to LA 16, then west to re-intersect I-55.
