Ramp Closure – Westbound On-Ramp to I-10 at Exit 27 – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced the Westbound On-Ramp to Interstate 10 at Sampson Street in Westlake will have intermittent closures from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday, August 10, 2026.
Signing and flagger personnel will be stationed at ingress/egress locations. The traffic stoppage intervals will be 15 minutes.
The closure is necessary for the contractor to receive steel beams for the new bridge over the pipe rack. Work will be conducted weather permitting.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
