I-10 at US 51 Interchange (Exit 209) – Eastbound and Westbound Ramp and Lane Closures – Interstate Lighting Repairs - St. John the Baptist Parish

The following ramp and lane closures will be in affect at the I-10 and US 51 Interchange, nightly, from 8PM to 6AM on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 and Thursday, August 13, 2026, weather permitting, while St. John Parish’s contractor makes Interstate Lighting Repairs:
- Closure of the I-10 Eastbound Entrance Ramp from US 51
- Closure of the I-10 Westbound Exit Ramp to US 51
- Right Lane Closure on I-10 Westbound approaching the US 51 Exit Ramp
Permit Information:
No restrictions for oversized loads.
Detour Information:
Motorists may use the following route to avoid the ramp and lane closures:
Motorists traveling US 51 to I-10 eastbound may take US 61 north to LA 3188, then north to intersect I-10.
Motorists traveling I-10 Westbound to US 51 may take I-10 west to La 3188 (Exit 206), then south to US 61, then south to re-intersect US 51.
