The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 1 Southbound will have alternating right and left lane closures beginning Friday, August 21, 2026, through Saturday September 26,2026, from 7:00pm to 4:00am.
These lane closures are necessary to allow the contractor to perform shoulder repairs, roadway striping, and temporary concrete barrier relocation along the LA 1 Southbound roadway.
