The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that, beginning Wednedsay, August 5, 2026, the bridge on LA 1215 over Toledo Bend Lake, located approximately 1.08 miles west of LA 191, in Sabine Parish, will be closed to all traffic.
The closure is necessary following the determination that the bridge has structural deficiencies that make it unsafe for public travel and requires immediate repair to return to service. The roadway will remain closed until Thursday, August 20, 2026.
