UPDATE: This lane closure has been extended to Friday, August 14, 2026.
Calcasieu Parish - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced the right lane along Interstate 10 Eastbound beginning near Exit 25 (I-210 Interchange via I-10 Eastbound) to the Sampson Street entrance ramp to I-10 EB will be closed from 8 PM – 5 AM nightly, beginning Thursday, August 6, 2026, through Friday, August 14, 2026.
All ramps will be open during operations.
The closure is necessary for mill and overlay of outside shoulders along I-10 EB in multiple locations. Work will be conducted weather permitting.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
