NOW OPEN: US 190 EB over the Atchafalaya River in Krotz Springs, St. Landry Parish, Emergency Lane Closure

UPDATE: NOW OPEN!!
Effective immediately, US 190 Eastbound over the Atchafalaya River in Krotz Springs, at milepost 139.9, will be reduced to one lane until further notice.
This closure is necessary to allow crews to make emergency repairs to a bridge joint.
The road will be open to regular traffic with a 16-foot lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone.
Emergency vehicles will have access to the area but may encounter delays.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
