The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that on Friday, July 31, 2026 from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, weather permitting, the southbound section of I-49 at Exit 84 will be closed to all traffic, from 8:00am to 3:30pm. The reason for this closure is to wash all drains.
Permit/Detour section
No detour will be needed for this closure.
