Lane closure: I-10 WB (Mile Marker 27 to Mile Marker 24) - Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced the right lane along Interstate 10 Westbound, beginning near Mile Marker 27 and ending at the I-210 entrance ramp to I-10 Westbound, will be closed from 8 PM – 5 AM nightly, beginning Sunday, August 2, 2026, through the morning of Friday August 7, 2026.
All ramps will be open during operations.
The closure is necessary for milling and overlay of outside shoulders along I-10 Westbound in multiple locations. Work will be conducted weather permitting.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
