UPDATE: Lane closure: I-10 Eastbound at Mile Marker 25 (US 90 overpass) - Calcasieu Parish

UPDATE: The lane closure has been extended to Aug. 4, 2026.
Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced the left lane of Interstate 10 Eastbound near Mile Marker 25 will be closed from 8 PM to 5 AM nightly, beginning Wednesday, July 29, 2026, through the morning of Tuesday, August 4, 2026.
The closure will not be in effect during nighttime hours on Saturday, August 1, 2026.
The closure will begin near the I-10 Eastbound entrance ramp via I-210 and end at the US 90 overpass.
The closure is necessary for crews to install temporary barrier rail along the inside shoulder. Work will be conducted weather permitting.
