LA 182 at Charenton Bridge, St. Mary Parish, Bridge Closure for Routine Maintenance

The Charenton Bridge at Baldwin Canal on LA 182 (Main Street) between Yokley Road and Newman Street will be reduced to one lane on Monday, July 27 and Tuesday, July 28, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.
This closure is necessary to allow crews to perform bridge inspection.
The road will be open to regular traffic with a 12-foot lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone.
Emergency vehicles will have access to the area but may experience delays.
