DOTD advises motorists that LA 308 is closed just south of McCloud Road near Lockport due to structural issues with a bridge. Traffic is being detoured across Bayou Lafourche to LA 1. Motorists should follow the posted detour route, allow additional travel time and use caution in the area. DOTD crews are evaluating the structure and working to make emergency repairs. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
