Open house public hearing on I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge Project scheduled for July 21, 2026 – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced that an open house public hearing on the Interstate 10 Calcasieu River Bridge Replacement Project is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2026.

Lake Charles Event Center Contraband Room 900 Lakeshore Drive Lake Charles, LA 70601
The open house will include public information and exhibits on the following:
- Project updates and schedule
- Preliminary drawings of the Lakeshore Drive roundabouts
- Traffic mitigation strategies during construction
- Updated traffic noise analysis
Anyone requiring special assistance, due to a disability, to participate in this meeting, is asked to contact the I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge Project by telephone, email, or US Mail.
Comments and questions may be submitted during the open house event or sent to I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge Project by email or US Mail. Written comments must be received by August 4, 2026, following the event to be included in meeting documentation.
