DOTD announces $1.65 million project to replace LA 10 Mill Creek Bridge in Elizabeth - Allen Parish

Allen Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that the $1.65 million project to replace Mill Creek Bridge on LA 10 in Elizabeth is scheduled to begin Monday, July 27, 2026.
The bridge is anticipated to be closed to traffic until February 2027, weather permitting.
Detour information:
Motorists can detour via LA 112, LA 1156, and LA 3206. Note: The closure area is marked in RED; the detour route is marked in BLUE.
Merrick LLC is the contractor for the project. Safety Reminder:
