UPDATE: La. 353 is now OPEN to motorists.
ST. MARTIN PARISH, LA - DOTD announces that the road is now closed near the 2000 block of La. 353 (Cypress Island Highway) due to a stalled vehicle.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate route.
DOTD will notify the traveling public once the road is reopened.
