UPDATE: Alternating lane closure: US 171 SB (MP 14.2 to 14.5) - Beauregard Parish

Beauregard Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced alternating lane closures on US 171 Southbound near Camp Edgewood Road (Milepost 14.2 to Milepost 14.5) from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily on Thursday, July 16, 2026, and Monday, July 20, 2026.
The closure is necessary for crews to perform asphalt replacement. Work will be completed, weather permitting.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
