Update on Terrebonne Parish Bridge Closures: Dularge Bridge Reopens

TERREBONNE PARISH – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists of the following bridge updates in Terrebonne Parish.
The Boudreaux Canal Bridge on LA 56 is currently open to vehicle traffic. The bridge was briefly closed Friday, July 10, due to mechanical repairs but has since reopened.
Motorists should note that the Boudreaux Canal Bridge is scheduled for planned daytime closures on Wednesday, July 15, and Thursday, July 16, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day for electrical repairs and testing.
During the planned closures, motorists should use LA 57 as an alternate route. Motorists traveling south from the Houma area should detour to LA 57 south. Northbound motorists should use LA 56 to LA 57 north.
The Dularge Bridge on LA 315 has reopened to vehicle traffic as of 11 AM, Monday, July 13, 2026.
