US 61 Northbound & Southbound Moving Operations - from US 51 to St. Charles Parish Line – Roadway Sweeping - St. John the Baptist Parish

The US 61 Northbound and Southbound, left/inside lanes will have moving operations from US 51 to the St. Charles Parish Line, scheduled from 6AM to 6PM on Saturday, July 11, 2026, weather permitting, for DOTD sweeping operations.
ONE LANE WILL BE OPEN AT ALL TIMES.
Permit Information:
No restrictions for oversized loads.
Detour Information:
Motorists may use the following routes to avoid the work zone:
Motorists traveling US 61 south may take LA 44 south to LA 628, then east to LA 3217, then north to re-intersect US 61
Motorists traveling US 61 north may take LA 3217 south to LA 628, then west to LA 44, then north to re-intersect US 61
