North Sevice Road (Woodward Ave) in Lincoln Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that, beginning on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, the North Service Road (Woodward Ave.), between LA 544 (Cooktown Rd.) and US 167, will be closed approximately 2500 feet west of US 167 to thru traffic.
The closure is anticipated to last 5 weeks, and should be open Friday, August 14, 2026, and is necessary to allow DOTD to repair a cross drain under the roadway.
Restrictions/Permits:
Total road closure at the specified location. All vehicles will need to utilize an alternate route.
Alternate Route:
A detour route will be signed and provided for the duration of the closure.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
