Jefferson Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that one block of LA 3017 / Peters Road in Harvey is closed in the southbound direction near the 3800 block due to a developing roadway issue. DOTD closed the affected area out of caution and has requested an emergency contractor to address the issue.
Motorists should follow the posted detour route and use caution when traveling through the area.
