UPDATE: The right lane of US 165 is closed until 8 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2026.

Jefferson Davis Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced there will be alternating lane closures on US 165 Southbound at Milepost 1 near the intersection of LA 3258 from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily on Monday, July 6, 2026, and Tuesday, July 7, 2026.
The closure is necessary for crews to perform asphalt replacement.
